  • Counseling

    CAFA has a talented team of counselors licensed by the state of Oregon in a variety of disciplines (Licensed Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers). We also have a staff of Master’s level therapists who are mental health associates working towards a license and supervised by a licensed supervisor. CAFA also supervises student interns from credentialed programs working on graduate degrees in counseling and mental health related fields. Our licensed counselors take most insurance. Associates take all Oregon Health Plan Insurance. Student interns are on a self-pay basis. Sliding fee scales are available for self-pay cash payment.

  • Safe Families

    Safe families is an international program that provides voluntary, safe placement for children who’s families need help. This evidence-based model pairs trained, vetted volunteers with at risk families in order to keep families together rather than risking system involvement or unnecessary separations of parents and children when families are experiencing a crisis.

  • Kids Connecting- Supervised Visitation

    Kids Connecting provides a safe and secure means for parents who have been granted parenting time with their children, and who are ordered by a court to do so through supervised visitation. Visiting parents are required to complete an assessment and orientation plus successfully complete our specialized, trauma-informed parenting class prior to being approved for visits.

  • Neurofeedback

    CAFA’s neurofeedback clinicians are certified in either IASIS microcurrent neurofeedback or CYGNET’s ILF neurofeedback. Neurofeedback has many implications for use with symptoms that range from trauma, attention, mood, stabilization, headaches, and relaxation. For more information click on the hyperlinks.

  • Creative Connections

    Creative connections provides an alternative or addition to traditional therapies using creative arts. The creative connections services are a group experience under the guidance of a licensed therapist and a therapeutic arts director.

  • Parenting Education

    CAFA frequently hosts parenting education workshops with a highly interactive parent-child experiences and times of learning and connection. In addition we offer a 15-week Parenting After Crisis class that meets weekly Thursday evenings. Facilitators are highly trained in models such as Conscious Discipline, Collaborative Proactive Solutions, Attachment Theory, and others.

  • Domestic Violence & Anger Management Groups

    CAFA’s OPAC Outgrowing Power Anger and Control Program is a Lane County Approved Batterer Intervention Program that fulfills Oregon’s requirements for Domestic Violence offenses as well as referrals for Anger Management Programs. Group Participants consist of those who are mandated and also those who are voluntarily taking classes to increase their emotional intelligence and relational capacity. Facilitators are highly trained in models such as Conscious Discipline, Collaborative Proactive Solutions, Attachment Theory, Polyvagal Theory, and others.
